**Team Sign-Up Terms and Conditions for Hoops4Hope fundraising Event** 1. **Team Registration:** By completing the team sign-up process for the Hoops4Hope fundraising event, teams agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein. 2. **Team Composition:** Teams must consist of the number of participants specified for the event category. Changes to team composition must be communicated to the event organizers well in advance. 3. **Sign-up fee:** Teams must pay a fixed fee of TSh 100,000 or KSH 6,100 for their team of 7-10 Players. The price will stay the same even if the team consists of 10 players. Teams have until January 20, 2024 to sign up and pay the fee. Fees can be paid directly at UWCEA Arusha Campus at the front reception, through MPESA or a bank transfer. Details will be communicated after sign-up has been confirmed. 4. **Event Details:** Teams must adhere to the event date, time, and location as specified in the event details provided. Any changes to these details will be communicated in a timely manner. 5. **Team Captain or coach Responsibility:** The designated team captain or coach is responsible for coordinating team activities, ensuring team members are informed about event details, and acting as the primary point of contact with event organizers. 6. **Team Attire:** Teams are encouraged to wear coordinated attire or jerseys during the event. 7. **Code of Conduct:** Teams are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and to respect other participants, event staff, and volunteers. Any inappropriate or disruptive behaviour may result in the team's disqualification. 8. **Event Safety:** Teams must adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by event organizers. Failure to comply with safety regulations may result in immediate disqualification. 9. **Cancellation Policy:** In the event that a team needs to cancel their participation, notice must be provided to event organizers by January 8th, 2024 for possible refunds. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after January 3rd, 2025. 10. **Event Organizers' Discretion:** The event organizers reserve the right to refuse or revoke team participation at their discretion, with or without cause. 11. **School rules** NO single-use plastic items are allowed on the school premises. Only reusable bottles. The possession or selling of alcohol or any drug will result in the whole team's disqualification and reporting to higher authorities. Players and spectators are not allowed to pass any of the set barriers, and violations of this rule will result in team disqualification. 12. **Fundraising** All the funds made from the hoops4hope event will go towards supporting basketball programs across Arusha.
